just wanna know what the difference is between the two diffs / Axles on the el xr6 2 and Au xr6...is the au one wider or any different cause of the body shape?

the au live axle diff is wider and does have longer axles than el,
but the complete diff will physically bolt into a el... might need a few slight mods for the brakes but thats about it.. |

thanks man...just wanted to know because am getting a big brake upgrade on the front of my el xr6 and its going to change to au offset and was gonna see if i could put an au rear axle in to make it all front and rear au offset.....you reakon the rear wheels will sit out further if it was done?

the au diff is wider, thats what gives to the au offset..
so if you want to gain the au offset on the rear to match au offset on the brake upgrade, fit a complete au diff and brakes..then you run au-fg offset wheels... |
