I've always loved the snowflakes.
Back in the day, the first car I can remember as a kid was my families XE 'Mont Ghia, 302.
4 Speed, that pale silver colour, a little bit low sitting on snowflakes with a tough exhaust note.
Remembering this is making me want an XE!

You got it lads! They are rare 8" snowflakes!
This shot makes the difference more apparent...stock 7's at front.
I've just had em powder coated silver.

Basically we machined the front off two snowflakes and welded them to the front of some others. Of course it makes it hard to fit the tyres because it effectively moved the bead drop in point further in from the rim edge which means we'll have to squash the f**k out of the tyre to get it on. Got some 265 Yokies lined up for it.

Cheers,
Pete.
