i know XR's obviously have LSD. and that GLI's dont haha.
What about fairmonts fairlanes e.t.c? do any of these models have lsd, as 6's?? cheers

As far as i know. XR's came out with LSD.
GLI, Futura, Fairmont came out with SS, but could be optioned LSD. Fairmont ghia came with LSD Fairlane came SS unless optioned. thats just from memory, correct me if i'm wrong. think the SS were 3.23 and the LSD 3.45

fairlanes came with LSD standard. both of mine have 'em
V8 NC = 3.27 I6 NA-NC = 3.23 V8 NF/NL = 3.23 I6 NF/NL = 3.23

Fairlanes in nf/nl did not come standard with LSD, they came standard with 3.23 SS only optioned to LSD

If you are getting an EL Fairmont Ghia, they came standard with a 3.45 LSD. Thats the 6's, i guess the 8's were the same?

I got me an EL Fairont Ghia. Its only the I6 but yeah, it has the LSD. I know that the EL Fairmont Ghia's come standard with the LSD...not sure bout the EF equivalent though.

yeow, i got an EL fairmont ghia...so you will all be seeing that very soon.
i trust everyones word that it does have LSD. but ill just test it anyways  he he.

I have a EL Ghia and yes they have STANDARD LSD 3.45s...
All EL Ghias have the same Engine, Fuel system (Regulator), Computer tune and Diff as per the EL XR6 but have 3 less kw due to quieter exhuast on the ghia The differance between a GLI engine and a GHIA/XR6 engine is the cam and exhaust valves Also, XR6s and Ghias take a different spark plug to GLIs

my GLi has a 3.23 and it's LSD, all standard fair from the factory, hmmm, it is an ex-chaser though,
