Guys I have a DL V8 diff that has a dodgy axle seal has anyone ever replaced one of these and are there any tricks?...if some one has a scan of the workshop manual that would be great.

Also what diffs from other models will slot right in?

ef/el,nf/nl also go straight in.
to do the axle seals the wheel bearings need to be removed from the axles, perfect opportunity to renew them as well

CHeers Rusty, any idea which of those came in LSD?.....or is there a chart somewhere I can compare them?

All the axles are the same spline, single spinner or LSD, doesn't matter.

Thanks SWC, I was more talking about ratios in different models. more to the point the ratios in other lsd diffs that are compatible...was hoping someone may know of a chart that listed the different specs

LSD was an option on all models except XR6, XR8 and EFII Ghia and EL Ghis wher the 3.45 LSD was standard. 3.27 was another LSD ratio. You can LSD any ratio if you want.
