Ive got oil leaking from the diff and looks like its coming from the front between the diff n the axel. Im thinking it's the drive pinion oil seal. How hard is this to replace? If i take it to a machanic how much would they charge me?

The actual oil seal is not hard to replace, but the pinion may need resetting up after you have moved the bearing and washers etc. I had a seal replaced on an LSD and it didn't really cost that much. I can't remember how much. The main reason I had someone else do it was for the pinion setting. If it came out wrong, I could blame someone else!!

cool. ill speak to my mechanic tomorrow and get his a** to do it... i give them the s**t jobs...

Can someone tell me what i should to when replacing this? as i need my car tomorrow n if my mechanic cannot do it i have to fix it.
