hi all !
got a prob with the ba 03 xr8 i have noticed a leak coming from the rear end somewhere had her up on the hoists the other day changing the springs.and think the leak is coming from the drive shaft bushes when i take of around a bend, up or the drive way and the wheel is turned there is a nasty shudder coming from the back but it does not do it in a straight line only when starting of when wheel is turned or when high up in the revs when she atarts making some real power .i think this maybe from being low on oil because of the leak. has anyone had probs with the bushes and can anyone shed some light on how much of a job this is going to be to repair
thanks all

Are you talking about the half shafts from the diff to the wheels? If so what end on the shaft? There are no bushes on the half shafts nor driveshaft only CV boots that contain grease

How old is the car? If still under warranty return it to Ford to have them fix the leak. But to confirm if it is the diff it must be a leaking welsh plug from the diff as im sure that they are sealed on the female spline. If its black grease its from the CV boot. I can find out more info for you tomorrow from the manufacture.
