my falcon ea, has a knock when i go over bumps. now ive changed all of the bushes to nolathane and the knock remains, i put in the new nolathane upper and lower trailing arms. the exhaust does slightly hit the diff but the knock is on both sides? when i got the car it had the knock so i put tickford springs and shocks in and its slightly louder, could i need new rear suspension?
Cheers,
Brandon

Check everything is tight mate. Especially the lower shock absorber bolts, they need to be really tight.

when i first changed shocks, i done it with a jack, and the lower bolt fell out a month later, but then the second time i put it on a hoist and tightened them both until they wouldnt move anymore,

My xr6 has the same problem whenever I take off or slow down it knocks, but it never did it until I changed rear springs and shocks , I think I don't have the bottom shock bolts tight enough,

Before tightening any of the bolts in the suspension ( front or rear ), you must have the weight of the car on the suspension, ie: need the rear axle to be on jack stands, so then you can tighten all the bolts & nuts for trailing arms and shockies......this stops the bushesgetting their guts twisted out.
The front is trickier to do.

Update: put car on the hoist and saw the hand break cable has been hitting the link pin. Savage where did you cable tie the cable to? The eyelets? Because I did and cabled it lower trailing ARM and now my hand break is really
tight.
