Hi, new to this site, looks like a great way to get help!
I have just conv my ED F/mont to manual. It has got a bit of a flat spot when u floor the throttle and change gear but otherwise runs perfectly fine(it still has the auto ecu). It always had the flat spot but is more noticeable now that its manual. I did a 700km run in it a coulple of Saturdays ago and it went bloody well! Fuel use was 9.4l/100km doing 110-120kmh most of the time. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where the flat spot would be coming from.

Check condition of coil, dizzy cap & rotor or dizzy it self.

You need to chip the ECU (J3 chip), or resistor trick it, or buy a manual ecu. The auto ECU will decrease your power by putting the car into torque limit mode or something.
