can it be done as the ed has cable handbrake
and my ef has drum brake hand brake will it bolt up or would it be better to change the center thanks

actually both cars handbrake's are operated by cables
jsut ed and ef are different in the way they are activated are u talkign about a complete diff swap ie axles and housing with the discs? or just the discs themsleves?

i have a complete ed xr6 diff unit still in car i am wreaking
just looking at unbolt and rebolt can i just change the handbrake ends was told dont spilt the diff if you dont have to ie shimms and that stuff but dont know seeking advice i have a xr8 that i bought with a stuffed diff and center he guttered it sidways

yes will fit in as u said as far as i am aware
brakes will work no worries hadnbrake not to sure about u may just need the ED handbrake cable
