i keep getting different answer each time i ask this question. will an EF/EL Auto bolt straight on to an ED engine? i keep getting a "yes it will", "no Bell Housing are different". So will it fit no with no drama?
And while i am on the subject does any have an ED auto or EF/El (if it will just bolt on) that that want to sell? Cheers. |

They're exactly the same, except depending on which EF you have you may have one with the dipstick or one without.

It will fit fine. My ED has an EF auto in it.

It's not really that surprising, they're essentially identical transmissions and engines. But yes you should be fine.
