Hi All,

Done plenty of searching & have not found similar symptoms.

Driving home last night @ 100k's, just indicated to leave highway revs went thorough the roof (on cruise) realised after a little delay that I had lost drive. Pulled over tried all the gears only got a solid reverse, all other gears like neutral.

Done about a 1000k's since service & flush on the auto. Checked the oil (dipstick) & it is still a good colour & the level is good. Tightened the bands (external adjustment) no change. No difference hot or cold.

Thinking of towing home but trying to avoid the $150+ bill. May try to drop the pan where she is to see if anything appears astray there.

Very open to suggestions atm.

did you knock it outta gear so maybe try putting it in D? lol.

jokin.. from what ive heard it takes the highest box oil pressure to engage reverse so probly wont be that.
maybe the box just gave up?

Thanks for the responses guys.

I could be wrong but I would not think it could be the selector switch as the mechanical linkage (for limp mode) would not have the auto in neutral in any of the drive positions 1-D but instead the box would be in 3rd. Same with solenoids gone - should have some sort of drive.

Please let me know if I have got it completely wrong as I would like to understand the functionality a little more for an auto especially these BTR's:)
