Hi Guys
In need of a bit of assistance please.
EL motor and 4 speed auto in XF . Stuck in first gear. Not limp home 3rd gear, definately first. Can change gears manually.
Voltages at ECU for gear select pin 30 are about 2 volts too high. Inhibitor switch resistance is good. Wiring from auto to ECU is good. Voltage at pin 30 with switch disconnected is 7.1v. Is this too high? i was expecting probably 5 volts reference. Apart from splicing in power etc to loom it is unmolested EL loom with auto wiring in tact. Swapped out ecu and switch-no change. Am i missing something obvious?
Voltages at pin 30 ignition on - PARK-5.8 , REVERSE-4.9, NEUTRAL- 4.2, DRIVE-3.5, 3RD-2.8, 2ND 2.15, 1ST-1.46.
thanks
