oh s**t hot, thx for that, i think i might have to turf my 3.08 single spinner and buy the EL Ghia one. It's only done 90,000k's and it was a family car so it should be pretty good still.

Just make sure it's a 6 cyl then....

I am pretty sure they got the 3.23:1 ratio in the 8's! but yeah I agree, 3.45 in the 6's.

Yeah it's a 6, will i notice much difference in acceleration from 3.08 to 3.45?

IMO you're much better off with a 3.45:1 ratio than the 3.08:1.

Better acceleration and better fuel economy around town.

I will be on the look out for a 3.45:1 LSD for my bus when the time comes, but that may be a while as my car has only done low k's so it might be a while before the original diff dies in the a**!

A 3.45 diff will have you on 2000 rpm @ 100km/h.

If your serious about modding your EL, and sticking with the auto then i wouldnt waste your time with 3.45's

Save up and fit some 3.7 or 4.11's....... you need shorter ratio's than 3.45 to overcome that aweful 1st gear

Good news, the person with the wrecked EL Ghia has a EF Futura and he just blew his diff up in it, I'm gonna give him my 3.08 diff out of my car and hes gonna give me the 3.45lsd out of the EL Ghia, im stoked.

Why argue. All Ghia's (8's and 6's) got a 3.45.
