ok, i have an EL GLI Wagon and i want to lower it, i picked up a set of King Spring Superlows and a set of lowered leaf springs off a mate which he said made the car sit even with the superlows
my question is, does anyone know how much these will lower my car? as i am afraid that they will make it too low and i wont be able to get in and out of my driveway, both up/down the curb and down/up the slope. Cheers Kristian |

Hi Mate.
My Wagon has King Spring Super Lows in the front, and I used 2.5" lowering blocks in the back. It looks like this.  The only real way to know is to install the new gear, and see for yourself how it looks, and how you are able to navigate all the usual places you go. If you don't like, change it back. It is only time. Cheers BenJ

hmm true true, so how do i go about changing front springs? is it doable or do i need special tools?

You need spring compressors, and a workshop manual.
If you have not got any idea on how to do it now, get someone local to help you so you can learn as you go. Cheers BenJ

hmm after reading some stuff i reckon i may be able to do this myself, though the rears may be harder then i thought, shall look into it, cheers
