my ba is the same. won't change into 4th until 70-75. have had it into ford who tell me nothing is wrong and that it is to protect the engine so that it is not labouring. this is a big cop out in my opinion. these cars are making 380nm of torque so they will handle top gear at 60. in manual mode it will go into top gear at 60 no worries.

eb v8: low loud and fast. just how a v8 should be. i guess the big question is, is it fast enough...

maybe check the revision of the ecu and change it to a different one perhaps like I did

yeah that reminds me ... 60kmh, econ mode my EF Futura sits about 1500rpm,

my brothers EL Fairmont 60kmh, econ mode his sits about 1200rpm..
