Ok im doing a manual swap in my EL XR6 just got a few questions for those people out there who have done one them self.
- Where the shifter comes out of the transmission is there a plate or some thing where the shifter comes through the top of the transmission tunnel into the interior? You get what i'm talking about
- Also wiring up the reverse light sensor and the netural switch and all the other wiring if there is any?
thanks

Where the shifter comes through there is a rubber seal which slides over the shifter and is held down by a metal bracket (like a big ring which secured by 4 screws).

Not so sure about the wiring on the EL's. They have an integrated engine/gearbox loom so I think your going to be cutting it up and adding new plugs.

yes you will cut up your existing plug and put it on switch terminals!

not too hard - there should be a 4 pin plug that you takke the terminals out of to connect to reverse switch and to neutral switch!
