AFAIK, there isn't a way to 'program' it, thats why its adaptive. It recognises the way you are driving and shifts accordingly.

to change modes:

place the selector in the gear for the mode you want to change to

I think
1st = performance
2nd = adaptive shift
3rd = economy

switch the ignition to on (don't start the car) and leave until the abs light turns off, then place the selector in Reverse, the economy light will flash 2 times to signify performance and will stay on to show economy.

After it has completed place the selector back in park, and switch the ignition off.

I will double check the manual tonight.

1. Ignition off
2.Move gear selector to
1 max perf
2 max econ
3 adaptive shift
3. Turn ignition on and wait for airbag warning light to go out
4. Move selector to R and econ light will flash 3 times to indicate a sucessful gear change
5. Put in P and start engine and watch the ECON light

2 flashes after turning on indicates max perf
ECON on continuos means max econ
No illumination means adaptive shift.

Have fun, my FBT will shift, on the limiter in max perf after a minute or so of stick.
