ok guys the saga continues my car went into limp home mode again but this time its saying solenoid 1. So its a start :) my question is how hard and how do i change that one? cheers guys.

never changed on

but u will need to drop the pan and change the filter while u are at it

the solenoid is above the filter

no idea which 1 it is though. . .

u may have to drop the valve body a bit to do it i could be wrong

If one solenoid is faulty, maybe its worth changing them all now while you have the auto "opened".

this is something ihave thought about but when it comes down to it th average price for the solenoids excluding S5 as it is expensive they are about 100 each so at 600 dollars all up just for the solenoids plus fitting im comming close to the cost of a cheap reco swap over.
