what else can i use or is most of it useless

please help
what other parts such as cables an what not are different in the manuals from 6 to 8 besides the box and bellhousing

you will need the v8 flywheel.clutch assembly, throwout arm, bellhousing and clutch cable.
you will also need to get the gearbox input shaft modified as afaik the v8 input shaft is longer.

unless places like dellow or castlemain rod shop make v8 bellhousings to suit 6 cyl boxes..

Nothing as per factory without modification.

The T5 can be used only if you mod/extend the input shaft.

Apart from that, maybe the crossmember, but you can use your auto one too.

Am not sure if you can put an 8 shaft in a 6 T5. More knowledgeable individuals will have to answer that one. Finding one would be a challenge in itself. You would also have to source an V8 bellhousing to suit the longer input shaft.

I am pretty sure a V8 crossmembet is the same as a six, as the tail shafts are the same length. I used to have an alloy XR8 tailshaft in my red EB.
