this may sound stupid but where the hell is the plug too undo to let the fluid come out so i can change the oil in my gearbox on my 94 ford :?:

Im assuming its an auto. To drain the oil (minus the torque converter), just undo the ten millimetre bolts around the outside of the pan that you will see under the transission. Get a new filter aswell to put in there.

chuck the front on ramps and then undo the rear bolts and come forward slowly.

clean the pan before reinstalling.

the o-ring of the filter will remain in the housing and needs a small srew driver to pry it out.

you'll need 4+ litres of new oil. autos use castrol tq95.

as said get a new filter, repco burson have em as a kit with new pan seal for around $25.

thankyou for the replys will do it on the weekend, hopefully it should sort out some problems with the gearbox as it seems to be playing up bad
