Im looking to rebuild or buy a newer gearbox for my ED
what are my options am i better off building my ED box with kevlar bands and spending $1400 or am i better off find an EF-BA automatic with low k's???? can BA autos be fitten to ED's? its EEV5 will that run the ba box? What is the best BTR box?? Id asume AU or BA box r the best but opions are good......

personally if i were you ild go wreckers and try to find a el+ tranny for about $200 and put that in. (practicly all e-series and au are the same but the newer and less km the better) i think au and el xr might have stronger bellhousing or internals or somthing according to my dad whos a machanic.

Thanks man, well i just purchases an EL Automatic with 97,000 km on it for $200 so ill fit that have it serviced , shift kit it and put on a big cooler and it should be good!
I hate how these dont have a dipstick tho!
