hey guys does anyone know of any good places who are reasonably priced that do gearbox rebuilds in melbourne?

Try the Gearbox Centre in Keysborough.
No idea on his prices, but he was very helpful when I converted my first car to manual. Failing that, there are reco ones on ebay for $600-$700 |

I presume Auto. Try RVO automatics in Dingley near Dandy, i believe.
