does anyone have some info on wiring up a plug on an el sedan for a towbar as i just brought a boat and new tow bar and forgot about the car wiring for the trailer lights

Haven't done a trailer plug for a few years now, but I remember the plug kit I bought at Supercheap Auto came with basic wiring instructions. Just spliced the trailer plug wires on in parallel & worked fine.

Just buy a plug (with the correct pin layout for your trailer) from an auto store that comes with decent instructions.

dud you can buy a simple adaptor that plugs into a loom in the boot gf's step father got one and plugged straight in no need for cuttin wires etcetc,,

yes like the std loom, it plugs into an outlet behind the rhs tail light, buy the plug or better still buy the loom :P you wont regret it ;)
