i have a stall that flashes to 2500rpm.... if it was any higher i dont think it would be useful behind shorter diff sbecause you would get nothing but wheelspin off the mark

Queensland Converter Engineering Services list a 2500-2800rpm stall on ebay for a fair price

I'm running 3.7 gears with LSD and a Dominator 2200/2400 more stall, I can hardly tell the difference from the standard convertor, I think 2500/2700, 2600/2800 would be a better range to look at. As for loosing traction with the shorter diff and stally it all comes down to traction, I've got Federal 245 tyres and an LSD with 200RWHP and are battling to break traction off the line.
