I'm taking a guess, but I would say you may have a dodgy solenoid.

Im researching trannsmission at the moment . Could it be one of the bands has slipped slightly out of place?

if its the same feeling i got from my trans it was a shudder but the motor was still running as usual so it wasnt a misfire just a shudder through the car, the more you put the throttle down without it going back a gear the harder it felt, mine ony done it cruising in 3rd gear or over drive and putting it into power or economy didnt make a difference so i thought it had something to do with the torque convertor because it was when the convertor was locked up

When I'm between the 58 km and 70 km range and let go of the throttle and roll, the car acts like a Manuel gear in a small way. Really noticeable with an exhaust.

Is that part cheap to replace?

so your car is just decellerating like the revs are sitting a little high, they do that because they rev out a little bit at 60-70km/h before clicking overdrive. well in the e series they do

Ha ha yea I love that joke.

But it doesn't do it at any other speeds.
And the small jolts aren't normal..

It could just need a service. Amazing what that can do for a BTR sometimes.

Mate let's hope that's the problem. I don't need other dramas before getting my tune.

Ford are still waiting for me to return and get my new power steering hose n flush (500)$
Front n rear sway bar issues. (450$)

They can wait. Trannsmission is way more important
