Ok I am going to attempt servicing my auto transmission very soon.
Is full synthetic the go?
Also can anyone tell me how much oil it takes and the best way to do it as in do I need to jack up both ends of car so the car is level?
Also what lil internal parts can I replace for better longer life.
I have a trans cooler kit. Does this interfer in anyway??
Help would be great.

Oil Cooler should not interfer in any way. I believe the 04 is a BW 4 speed auto so the filler should be on the drivers side of the box.

If your knowledge is that bad with simple auto transmission servicing you shouldnt be attempting to do anything on it. It is spelling disaster.

The ATF (filter) will need to be replaced aswell, so I'm guessing the access would be to drop the oil pan. Hmmm

Take it down and get it serviced. Worth the cash and alot easier. Any issues and they have to fix it.

Maybe if I could get some decent info it wouldn't be that hard.
I already have a filler pump for when I did my diff oil change. Yes filling it back up is the f**k part but atleast its peace of mind knowing I did it correctly.
So many s**t mechanics out there that just don't give a flying f**k.

Does any one experience like a ting sound. Every time you put it in park?

The ting sound is normal dude. my BA does it as well. The thing is the tranny service is a pain in the a*** to do so i leave it alone most of the time. If you want a good tranny place im sure a few members here can put you onto someone reputable. Saves you getting dirty and busting your balls.

Oh yea I forgot about flushing it. I'm not gunna pay 450 for a full flush n service when it's possible to do it correctly for under 100. I just don't trust Titan ford Brookvale .
