Is there anyway of telling if my car has a hi stall converter in it?.
Off the line it seems to rev out to around 2,500-3,000rpm before it pics up speed and isnt very "punchy" off the line.Its in a 5.0 EF Ghia.

try stageing it up from stand still and see where it brakes grip or how high it rev's up (low gear,brake and accl)
