I was just wondering if anyone knows the differences between the holden and ford T56 gearboxes. I wouldnt mind upgrading to one in the future, but the holden boxes seem to be cheaper and more readily available.

It would be to fit behind my 6cyl.

Cheers,
Nic

PS: I know i know, do a search... oh wait, search is shagged atm!

just to add to that, i know the bellhousings will be different, but i wonder if a ford 6 bellhousing will bolt to the holden v8 t56 and work.

and the input/output shafts with regards to length (input) and splines.
