Does anyone know typically how much power a higher stall takes away?
In particular, i've got a 2300rpm stall in my EB 6 and lost maybe 10rwkw? That about right?

Are you sure? I dont see how it would take any more power away compared to a standard, it does practically the same job, just later?

I'm not sure so many dudes would fit them if they took more power away, but not being a guy fully learned of autos, i could be wrong.

Ive also heard about losing power when using a hi-stall, something to do with hi-stalls not being as 'efficient' since they slip or flash higher into the rev range. Dont know how you'd lose power though, still dont understand it fully . My guess is it wouldnt make to much of a difference if the stall speed isnt much higher than the stock stall. The extra punch off the line having it slip higher into the revs would be good though
