can someone tell me a rough figure of how much im looking at to get my ED xr6 3.45 LSD diff reconditioned? ill pull the centre out myself...?

I paid $440 for a reco LSD about 2 years ago, but that was through the business doing the diff gear change.

i payed $700 to get my whole diff reco'd.
which was change ratio (which i supplied) new pinion bearing and seal,new carrier bearings, rebuild the centre with a new hemisphere (i supplied), shim it up, new axle bearings and seals.. just to shim up the lsd centre, if you remove it i would say around the $250 mark.. but if your going to pull it appart? you should fit new bearings.. i hope you know how to set the preloads ect... |
