but you're forgetting that they're illegal, when i got pulled over my 18's were even detectable, not sure how true this is as even ozzy tyres told me something different every time i went in.

correct me if im wrong, but my theory is that he would need 32mm adaptors taking into account a set of e-series stockies are +6mm offset, so the 32mm adaptors would make the correct gap or close to AU fitment?

32mm adaptors with Hub Centres HERE

You may be right but with my 19's which are AU onwards offset, i used 35mm hub adaptors and now my wheels are on my mates AU and they sit exactly the same in regards to clearance both sides of wheels tub.

So with the above mentioned it looks like that 35mm is the correct hub adaptor but if i had 32mm hub like the ebay type then i could of went from a 265/30/19 tyre to a 285/30/19 as there is about 1.8cm clearance on the inner tub and 0.8 on the outer tub/gaurd.

Depends if you think the Eseries offset is 0mm or +6mm.

Go measure a e-series stockie rim, you will find +6mm

i cant comment on 7" wide rims in the falcons though

I was told that when I bought wheels for my EF too. It limited my options as to what I could choose but it wasn't a problem for me because the only ones I wanted came in a pre-AU option.

I'm no expert but from what I've been told spacers are illegal, rubbish and dangerous so I didn't even consider it.

I'd sell the AU rims and go for something after market that came in a pre-AU style... but that's just me and I don't compromise on things when it comes to cars.
