Swaybars aren't one of those 'exciting to look at photo of' things :lol:

That was when I came home from work and took it out of the box. Don't worry, when I installed it I was in the 5 year old s**t and jeans :)

don't u just love it when u get a new package delivered to ur house and u get all excited and want to open and see whats inside even though u know what it is?

hmmm might need to get myself one of those..

oh when u replaced urs did u have to put like new bushes in or something? is it wise to replace bushes and ball joints while ur at it?

It comes with one lot of bushes where the bar mounts to the underside of the chassis. I replaced the others at the base of the vertical rod that runs up from the base of the shock (dunno what it's called) when I fitted the new springs, shocks and camber kit around 18 months back

I put a 30mm swaybar on the front of my xf Ghia. Come down thru the Adelaide hills on the old road (few years ago now) was the best drive ever. But was scary on roundabouts cos there was no body roll at all. The first indication of pushing too hard was the rear snapping around and looking back where ya came from! :lol:

i'm getting a swaybar and contemplating on where to install it myself or just get it installed with the rest of my suspension next month. theres nothing i can really screw up is there? just unbolt the old, bolt up the new.

Or the sway bar changed things soo much :?: :?: :?:
