Hi we just bought a DA2 ltd nice car....anyways there doesnt seem to be a kickdown
when im doing like 80 and want to pass a car so i smash the pedal to the floor it stays in same gear when it should change down. what could be the problem? its the 4speed 3.9L
any help would be great

throttle cable stretched? is it in power/econ? Mine did this for a while, untill i realised the floor mat was under the pedal so i couldn't push it down enough

its in powermode and the cable can stretch?

it is a bit hard for cable to stretch when it is controlled by the TCM, check ya neutral safety switch
