hey there are there any people out that a having problems with there tyres scrubbing with kings spring superlows. i want to lower my ed but dont want to ruin the guards/tyres.

Also what do you all think about shortened monroe shocks.

it's not who makes the spring, it's how low it sits.
you can have the gaurds rolled or do it your self with a metal base ball bat.

also depends how wide your tyres are.

You got decent camber castor kit from what i heard most camber and castor kits bolts aint long enough for superlows. Ill be going superlows soon.

ive had no trouble with superlows on my ea with standard shocks

sorry guys ive got 18x8 wheels so i think the tyes are 235/45/r18. At present i have no camber kit but im pretty sure they will be needed as after countless wheel alignments the car still pulls left.

ideally i want the gaurds approx 10mm (1cm) above the top of the tryes, but am not sure if i can go that low and avoid 'scrubbing' at the same time.

You will need a camber/castor kit whether it rubs on the guards or not. The 'scrubbing' most people refer to is the fact that the tyres will scrub out on one side or another (normally insides) of 17+ inch rims when lowered that far. If you dont get one you will sure enough end up having to replace your tyres after the inside edge of the front tyres peels off.
