Well, I didn't as I changed them so I could put the BA brakes on as they are not compatible with AU1 lower arms. If you can get the lower arms off, buy the bushes and try to find a workshop that will press them out and in, you will save HEAPS.
If you DO take them out yourself and get them done, might be an idea to get the lower Ball-joints replaced.

Well it wasn't lower arms...turned out to be worn door hinges of all things...fixed it temporarily by stuffing a rag in the door jam.

I must say, that is the MOST unusual thing I have heard today. :)
So surprised that the Hinges are buggered, only ever sell them to Panel Beaters for a smash repair..

Matey, if you are looking to buy a new set, I can help you with them. They are the same as BA/BF ones and you would be looking at $130.00 per door RETAIL. I can do a lot better for you. :D

BTW, if you DO want to buy them, I will be working this Saturday 8.00 - 12.00

Thanks Papa Smurf. I took it to pedders - they did a safety check and said lower arms and $1100 to do it.

Out of interest, how did you know your arms needed replacing Papa Smurf?[/quote]

F**k!

i just went through this, was $600 for pedders to supply and fit the bush's in the lower arms, fit the 4 ball joints ( i supplied ) and wheel aling the car i took the arms in though
