all fixed . mate cant read a dipstick , issue one solved

issue 2 still doing it so i jacked it up and checked all plugs and connections . still no good . so i pulled them off again and i realised the big main plug was really easy to get off . when i did the gearbox in the turbo car it was really hard to get off . so i put it back on and push really hard on it and it clicked in . test drove car .and all good . selects 1st gear now and doesnt go into limp home mode

buggar! I was hoping for something else! (glad yours is ok) as my mates XR8 goes to limp mode sometimes and the box is only 2yrs old! He replaced the selector switch with a new one, but still no luck - we're ol skool and not up on electric autos!
