Just wanting to know what other mods i would need to do to put in a lsd in my ba xr6. It has the single spinning diff at the moment. And any suggestions on what ratios you have and a good range that gives good take off but not doing a million rpm.

Thanks :)

ba xr6's are basically an XT with some fancy lights and stitching.

since the tickford days are over they have gone downhill in my opinion.

Thats why it is a slug off the mark....need 3.7 or better to improve this. The 1st gear in the 4sp auto is insanely tall.

i have a xr6T diff in my xt v8. goes preety good its 3.46 lsd.
as i thought my diff was 3.08 i got the 3.45 but if i knew it was gona be a 3.23 i woulda spent the extra $100 and got the xr8's 3.7 lsd. still spewin about that.
maybe one day in a few years after some serious work ill go for some 4.11's as even with this diff 3rd can still pull to about 180 or so.

awesome :) did you put the diff in as an aftermarket mod? if so did u need to change anything from the standard single spinner? and how much was it for the xr6t diff bud?

Probably in the range of $150 - $600 for a s/h unit with life left in it, depending on if you get it off a member here or from a wreckers.

Cheers
