Just had car serviced and report says I need to replace Lower control arm bushes in the front suspension.

I could always just let the mechanics supply them but does anyone know where I can get my hands on them?

Any assistance would be great!

Genuine Ford XR urethane ones can be had for about $70-$80 each, depending on the dealer. EL GT ones can be had for about $60-$70 each.

Aftermarket can be upto $100 each depending on brand, etc.

To swap you will need a 20ton press and the appropriate adaptors to remove and install. If you are going to do the labour yourself, then Ford or any specialist suspension place can remove and install the bushes for you, just expect to pay a few $$$ for it.

If you dump the car at someones shop to do it, I would expect to pay $300-$400 for the job.

But, if your bushes are shagged, when you replace them, the steering will be razor sharp... So be careful.. lol...
