Hi there. I have a BA XR6T that ive just put king springs KFFL-57SL in the front and KFRL-68SSL in the rear. The front sits fantastic nice height, however my issue is with the rear it sits a little too high for my liking. i would ideally like the tyre to meet the guard or just off. it doesn't have lowered shocks in the rear i was going to replace them when the standards gave up. My question is how can i make it sit lower? Will shortened shocks make it sit lower or not? What would be my next step?

Cheers

It might take a little while for the springs to settle in, thought of putting a few friends in the back and go for a ride? I know it sounds silly but it just might do the job, very cheap mod. :)

Also the shocks won't make it sit lower (i asked my suspension place the same question when i got mine done)

Try some shorter bumpstops...
Pedders part # 4364 (these are 10mm shorter than stock)

Fordy... got any pics of your car with the springs in ?

Thanks for all your help guys. A mate put me onto a place called Suspension city in North Melbourne, he said the trick is if you want your ba low you dont use the springs that are for BA. He ended up giving me a pair of rear springs for an FG, he said its not the correct way to do it because the FG spring is about 1cm shorter than a BA spring which is all i needed it to drop.

Ill get the camera out and post some pics up of it today.

Ill also post the part number of the rear springs when i have a look under the car today if anyone is interested.

Looks good mate...
I'm keen to know the rear spring part number.
Also, did you still use the king springs KFFL-57SL in the front ?
