Hey guys, really wanna lower my car a bit on a budget sadly... But before I do, couple of questions:

- MAINLY do you need to buy new shocks if you just put in some new springs or can you keep the stockies?
- cause it's a BF is it worth going ultra low on the rear an super low on the front as the rear is much higher?
- how much am I looking at in cost with kings or pedders springs?

Cheers in advance

If I were you I would be looking at EBay and see what is on offer there. Kings OR Pedders are good springs and do you REALLY want this car Ultra low? Standard XR height not enough?
You WILL need New shocks and they can also be gotten on Ebay as well. You could do just the Fronts first then save enough to get the rears done, it won't look so silly then and after all that you will need a WHEEL ALIGNMENT.

Ride: BF Fairmont Ghia

I dropped by BF Ghia on Ultralows all round, KFFL-57SL (front) and KFRL-68SSSL (rear). I kept my standard shocks and it's fine, but when they're gone i'll get some 1.5" shortened shocks. I got them used off eBay for $160 and installed them with my uncle. It's not too low, but does scrape. It tucks about 1cm of tyre at the rear, and the tyre and guard are level at the front.
Sits like this:

Thanks man. They're king springs. To get it lower than XR height, but slightly higher than mine, you'll need these:

Not difficult to fit, just get proper spring compressor's. The ride isn't too bad, even when full it's still pretty good. Would be much better with new shocks though.
