I was wondering if anyone new of any workshops anywhere between Newcastle and Sydney who could do a reasonable deal on the above for my 28 spline BW in the EF??
If you have a contact number or rough prices it would be appreciated. I have been Quoted $1200 from Central Coast Driveline and want to see if I can get a better deal. Cheers,

3.7's are an expensive set of gears, I was looking at them last year and ended up buying a s/h set of 3.89's for much less, I was quoted around $600-650 I think at Diff Technics in Kogarah (Sydney) to o/haul the centre and fit my gears, does your price include the gears (new or used) or was it just the work?

I was quoted for a re-built LSD centre (shimmed tight), New Bearings and second-hand gears in 3.7. I only want these as I have a 3.23 and a 3.45 doesnt make s**t all difference and 3.9-4.11 will be make a 5sp drive like a Truck. BTW, I have an engine in the build and im looking at a reasonably revvy cam..

I went from 3.23 to 3.45 (I picked up a XR diff for $200) and it does make a good difference but, yeah 3.7's was my ideal, so if yours isn't LSD already it wouldn't seem too bad as gears are about $400+ for 3.7's when I was looking.

It was to covert to LSD (supply and fit) though I am looking at all options at the moment, but 3.7 gears are the goal. I would really like a Kaaz or True trac but we will see. BTW, If there is a good workshop anyone knows of I am still shopping around so feel free to let me know
