I got an EL XR6 and the diff is rather tired.
Was once a 2 wheeler LSD but now is a single spinner.
Does anyone know of good places in WA were I could get it rebuilt?
How bout changeing the ratio from 3.45 to 3.9

Well I rang AD Differentials, they are in Balcatta, about getting a single spinner made to LSD and I was quoted $1500 over the phone. All new parts.
Needless to say I never did it.

I have all my diff work done by doug at maddington transmissions - does quality work. Diff rebuild cost me about $1000 from memory (it was completely buggered so I had to get it rebuilt). Then I decided to upgrade from 3.08 to 3.7 ratio gears. Cost me $600 all up I think (the crown and pinion were $450 from memory).
If you are getting the two done at the same time (which I would suggest) you are probably looking at $1200 or so.
If you do go around to talk to him you'll have some trouble finding his workshop as he doesnt have any signage up so that he doesnt get all the young hoons coming in.
