Does your diff have a tag on it, run out and check.

Quote from June 1992 Wheels magazine:

"The test GLi also bore a few other options including....Ford's new anti-lock braking system. At $990 the ABS is a steal, especially since it also brings the limited slip differential which ordiinarily costs more than $400 on it's own."

They reckon Ford was losing money on cars equipped with ABS, so maybe after a while they didn't offer the LSD anymore.

Found another quote in the May 1992 Wheels that explains all:

"The EB2 Falcon has ABS as standard on rhe S-XR8, Fairmont Ghia and all three long wheelbase models. The almost equally good news is that for the GLi, S and Fairmont, the Bendix based LC5 system is yours for only $990 extra, by far the cheapest optional ABS in Australia, especially since this price (for a limited time) includes a limited-slip diff."

So it was just a freebie for a limited time...

im assuming the tag is on the diff..

otherway i have heard is whack a jack under the diff, lift the back off the ground and spin 1 wheel, if they both spin the same way its an LSD? or so ive been told thats how it goes down...
