hey people!
i just got a quote back from malwood for conveting my el ghia I6 auto to manual! how does this sound and what are your thought on the pedal box mod they go???

Firstly you will need to set up the pedals and this how we do it, remove the pedal pad off the brake pedal and using a air hacksaw cut the LH side of the steel pedal pad off and fit a New Manual brake pedal pad. Then fit our special clutch pedal pin, which just bolts in,and fit the New clutch pedal. The cost for the Pedal Pads, New Pedal Pin and New Clutch pedal is $165 ( this process takes about 20 mins and saves about 5 hours if you have to remove the dash and fit a complete pedal carrier).
New 10.5'' Billet steel flywheel $395, New 10.5'' H/P clutch kit $625, Reco XR6 EL T5 with the bellhousing and clutch fork $1900 or a Reco V8 spec reconditioned T5 to suit the 6 cylinder with the bellhousing and fork $2420, New clutch cable $75, New gearstick and knob $145, New floor boot and retainer $45, New Console insert $85. You will also need to do ecu mods when fitting a manual. Freight to Perth will be $225. I hope this helps you, regards Mal wood

so at the end of all that should i source a manual xr6 ecu or keep mine and trick it with the resistors etc....
