That they do, where the trans type is, should read K. I've got 3 manual falcons, 2 factory, 1 i converted.

Cheers

well its got a k so that means t5 from factory. cheers heaps for your help guys. idle playing up must have something to do with the new ISC i connected the other day.

Probably a stupid question but but i dont know the answer, is there any disadvantage to blanking off the ISC and just setting the idle with the grub screw on the throttle body?

Yes, that grub screw sets the throttle position, if you screw it in, the throttle is then part way open. Let the isc do it's job.

Cheers

i unplugged mine on saturday and just screwed it in a bit, it is way better now. after revving it it used to take for ever to drop from 1500rpm back to idle, but now it just slows down at 1500rpm and drops straight back to what i set the idle at.

mine had this hose coming from the rocker cover to between the isc and the throttle body. I've looked at pics of people's engine bays and haven't see any that have it so i pulled it out. And is it meant to be all black and oily just in past the throttle body?, i think it might be like that from the hose that i ripped out

Sounds like you pulled the crank case vapor hose, part of the emissions gear. Not a good idea if it is that hose...

Cheers

the front outlet of the rocker cover had a dual outlet adaptor thing, the one i left on goes to the charcoal canister and the other one went in between the T/B and the ISC. the back outlet is still on and that hose goes in under the T/B.
