to my understanding the lock both rear wheels off the line but allow one to spin faster than the other going around corners.

from what i have read they are the best option for the E series falcon as the allow the less stress but most traction.

Thats a locker

A mini-spool joins the axel - so both wheels ALWAYS turn at the same speed. Good for race cars, no good for road cars

yeah thay are good if you want to do a flick spin every time you need to do a U turn

so wat are they like in a straight line? does it lock straight away? when pulling a line lock in the XR it will leave 1 tyre mark is that because the LSD has to wind up and lock?

a minispool is always locked. It is the same as welding your axels together.

LSD's dont need to wind up. Sounds like yours is stuffed
