Umm I understand that :roll:

so if i want to upgrade i have to sell the rims & tyres i just bought and look for new ones?

Thats why i was asking if there would be an E-Series offset

Yes a grand total of 70mm is added to the front to have an AU offset.

Guy's i know everyone is confused but let me get a camera and takes pic's of my wheels and hub adaptors so we can clean this thread up.

My own EF XR8 has 35mm hub adators to suit the AU onwards offset "5x114.3 +40" THIS IS STATED FOR AFTERMARKET WHEELS

Having said that im not sure how standard AU wheels fit on my car with the adaptors as i have never tried but ill try get my hands on 1 and take pictures.

If you read above I have quoted an e-mail from Tony (the guy who makes and sells these) saying that he plans to make an E-series offset kit eventually (no idea on timeframe though - you could e-mnail himn and find out I guess though).

I got an e-mail from Tony yesterday. He says that he'll have the E-series brake upgrade kit finalised by the 8th of January and it will have AU offset. So hub adapters will still need to be used on the rears to match.

Sorry if it has already been mentioned previously but has Tony estimated a rough cost these will retail for in kit form...and will they come from him with an ADR etc or engineers compliance cert?

I'm not sure and havn't asked. But I'd be guessing the pricing would be the same as the other kits or near enough. As for compliance, if the other kits are then I'm sure these will be too, if they're not then I doubt it...

Hey guys,

Like i promised i finally have photo's of my AU onwards wheels with 35mm hub adaptors on my EF XR8 but we have 2 wait till the end of the month so my net gets back up and running fast as its capped now LOL

I have spoken to Tony at UPC and i dont think he has done thurrer research in regards to AU onwards offset's with standard factory wheels and aftermarket wheels.

I have contacted a ebay buyer of his brakes and a simple reply of to many drammers with the kit and offered his contact number to discuss further about it which i havent called as yet.

It is very simple what needs to be done;

A kit with standard offset and also a kit that has AU onwards offset to keep everyone happy

Once i get my net speed up and going ill post up pic's of everything
