Ride: AU2 XR8 Ute

Location: Mlb
VIC, Australia

Hi folks

I am new to this and I hope you can help with both advice & info and have never had a play with a ford having always had holdens

I have just brought an 02 XR8 ute and will use it for a fun work run around of course I would never do anything to offend Victoria's finest

The first question I have is there any difference between a XR6 & XR8 diff in either dimensions or specs
I would like to build a strong diff first up and have the chance to pick up a 6 diff as a starting point.

The second question being without looking is what size is the MAF on the XR8 and is there a larger one available by ford

Hope you can shed some light on the matter

Thanks

the xr8 diffs, are different although the xr6 diff, most likely will fit, just may not be as strong standard. aslong as it's a ute, te's are differen't to sedans, might not know that being a holden driver, normally don't carry loads in there utes.
to be honest if your not going to be pushing it to full on going to crazy, the standard diffs aren't weak.
