Anyone had experiences with nonothane upper inner control arm bushes taking the lip off the bush and pushing it through the mount?
I've had them in for about 1000ks and the left sides cactus.
This is extremely quick wear on them, I'm thinking they must have been old stock as he right side is A1 perfect?

Was it just a bush change or was it a whole camber kit fit? Bush change comes in a pack, enough bushes to do both sides. If it's a camber kit, each pack is enough to do just one side.

Sounds like someone forgot to grease a spot that should have been, or the control arm might not be straight where the bush goes.

Cheers

Was a castor camber kit.
Ill replace the bushes again and see what happens, are the bushes for the castor camber kits the same as the usual?
No idea how long the kit was on the shelf for, coulda been 5 or more years.

Should be in the suspension forum.
Stuff like this is why the forum is turning into a messy s**t pile. Just because its a 6 cylinder car doesnt mean everything goe sin the 6 cylinder workshop.
Dont take this as a personal dig , you are not the only one not getting it right.

Nolathane are crap....inferior materials used.
I use SuperPro Polyurethane bushes.....they last so long, I have swapped them from one car to another, and are about 10 years old now, and still OK.

I've used nolathane and found it to be a bit hit and miss. I think the problem is, it's so stiff that any geometrical misalignment just destroys the bushes. When you get it right it seems to be pretty reliable though. I've also found them to be pretty good replacing fcuked units. Not that I would probably do it again but it does work. Only bushes I couldn't keep in it were stabiliser bushes with heavy duty stabiliser. I was going to replace with brass but never got around to it. Later model cars don't really allow it.
