G'day guys.

Well my gearbox is getting worse. Had the blower on for a month now, gotten to the stage where alot of power will go lost.

Just what are the Options on a Gearbox to suit an EF XR8.

I have been quoted near on $5000 for a rebuilt and beefed up BTR gear box with a small stall in it, then requires shift kit and hi stall module.

What other options are there?

-Mal Wood t56 conversion
-T5
-Tremec TKO 600 conversion
-C4 (although I'll miss the 4th)

My car is a 95 Xr8 auto, have just put a vortech blower on, 307rwhp. At the moment thats all the power I will need, though will look at potentially 400 rwhp, maybe a tad more (when the motor goes).

I would prefer to keep the auto as I like leaving off the line with power, but will be open to options as I dont want to have to go down this path later down the track.

Also Heard of an AOD box, is this an option?

Any light shed would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Jason.
